FAQ – Retail Installation, Shopfitting & Store Rollout

Frequently Asked Questions

What does World of Retail Services do?

World of Retail Services (WRS) is a turnkey retail installation and shopfitting partner. We plan, manage and install retail spaces from the first sketch to the final on-site handover — including shop-in-shop concepts, store rollouts, displays, POS and technology systems, logistics and ongoing maintenance — as a single partner, worldwide. We are a service provider: we don’t manufacture furniture, we deliver the on-site execution.

Which countries and regions do you cover?

We operate from our own offices in Germany (Witzenhausen, near Göttingen) and the United States (Boston/Burlington, MA), manage projects across Europe and North America, and work with an established network of regional partners worldwide, including Asia and the Middle East. We have delivered retail projects in 80+ countries.

What is a shop-in-shop installation?

A shop-in-shop is a dedicated, branded retail area built inside a larger store — for example a brand’s own space within a department store or electronics retailer. WRS designs and installs shop-in-shop concepts and brand displays that create a distinct, consistent brand experience within existing retail environments.

What is a retail or store rollout?

A store rollout is the coordinated, simultaneous deployment of the same retail concept across many locations, regions or countries. WRS manages multinational rollouts end-to-end — planning, logistics, installation and quality control — so brands can launch reliably and on schedule, with one accountable partner.

Which industries do you specialise in?

We are especially strong in consumer electronics, fashion, lingerie, luxury goods, cosmetics and health & beauty, and work with renowned international brands and agencies across these sectors.

What services do you provide?

Our A-to-Z range covers: turnkey retail installation and project management, shop-in-shop and display installations, POS and technology systems installation, retail logistics and equipment/furniture storage, maintenance and technical support, site surveys, and visual merchandising.

Which brands have you worked with?

WRS has delivered retail installation and rollout projects for leading brands including adidas, New Balance, Foot Locker, Columbia, Under Armour, Gap, Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss, Polo Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Tom Tailor, Lloyd, Victoria’s Secret, Triumph, MAC Cosmetics, Douglas, Morphe, NYX, Kiko Milano, L’Occitane, Cartier, Ray-Ban, Luxottica, LEGO, Pop Mart, Philips, Huawei, Dreame, Google, Yamaha, WMF, Groupe SEB, Bose, OPPO, Apollo Optik, McDonald’s, Royal Canin, Aldi, Lidl, Tedi, Rossmann, Thalia, wed2b.

How can I request a quote?

You can request a quotation via our Request a quotation page or contact us directly at [email protected] or +49 551 2887280.

Do you work as a white-label installation partner for shopfitters and fixture manufacturers?

Yes. WRS is a pure service provider — we don’t design or manufacture furniture, so we never compete with shopfitters. We install your fixtures under your brand, absorb rollout peaks and give you instant local teams in markets where you have none.

Can you install shop-in-shop concepts in department stores?

Yes. We install shop-in-shop spaces, brand corners, displays, fixtures, lighting and POS inside department stores and multi-brand retail, working within the host retailer’s access and night-work windows — consistently across countries.

Can you handle a simultaneous multi-country store rollout?

Yes. With 1,800+ local teams we coordinate synchronised openings across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia — one contract, one point of contact and the same standard in every market.

Do you manufacture fixtures or only install?

We are a service partner — we don’t manufacture furniture. We plan, install and roll out what brands and shopfitters design and build.
